NO SEMIFINALS in 100
m, 200 m and 100/110 hurdles. Top six times from all trial heats in
each event will qualify six finalists
|
 | Weigh-ins will be required for shot put, discus and javelin
between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM before the race. Only checked and marked equipment will
be permitted in competition and in warm-up throws.
|
 | The pole vault - prior to warm-up, the referee will inspect
each pole to be used in the competition to verify that the poles are legal equipment as
per Rule 7 - 4 - 3 of the 1999 National Federation High School Association Track &
Field Rule Book. Coaches please make sure that poles are properly marked according
to the rules and you have the VPA pole vault weight certification form.

MEDALS FOR PARTICIPANTS PLACING FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD WILL BE PRESENTED
15 MINUTES AFTER COMPLETION OF EACH EVENT FINAL.
RIBBONS FOR FOURTH, FIFTH, AND SIXTH PLACE.
TEAM AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE MEET.

RUNNING EVENTS BEFORE
THE EVENT COMPETITORS IN
THE MUST REPORT TO THE CLERK OF THE COURSE AT THE TIME THE FIRST CALL IS GIVEN (15
MINUTES BEFORE EVENT STARTS) FOR THE EVENT IN THE CHECK IN AREA (NEXT TO 100 METER START).
All athletes participating in running events
must sign in there no later than 2nd call. They will be marched to the start from the
check-in area by the clerk.
FIELD EVENTS COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL AT THE TIME
THE FIRST CALL IS GIVEN (15 MINUTES BEFORE EVENT STARTS) AT FIELD EVENT SECTOR. IF ATHLETE
IS PARTICIPATING IN TWO OR MORE FIELD EVENTS AT THE SAME TIME SHE MUST GO BACK AND FORTH
BETWEEN THESE EVENTS. ATHLETE LEAVING FOR RUNNING EVENT MUST SIGN OUT ON
THE SECOND CALL AND HE (SHE) MUST CHECK BACK IN NO LATER THAN 10 MIN AFTER THE CONCLUSION
OF THE HEAT OF THE RUNNING EVENT HE (SHE) WAS COMPETING IN.

SPIKES WILL BE ALLOWED FOR THESE AREAS.
